Roasted Asparagus with Nutmeg
Ground nutmeg gives this asparagus a little something special.
1 lb asparagus, trimmed of ends
1 Tbsp olive oil
2-3 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
Lay asparagus side by side on a foil lined cookie sheet. Drizzle with oil. toss. Roast for 5 minutes. Toss asparagus with tongs, and roast another 4-5 minutes.
Sprinkle with lemon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
