Creamy Layered Squares
Jello and Cool Whip are the best of friends, and when it is sugar free and fat free, it's even better!
Ingredients:
1 large pkg (0.6 ounces) sugar free jello (any flavor, any brand)
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 cup cold water
Ice cubes (about 4)
1 1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip (fat free or sugar free), divided
Directions:
Empty jello packet into a medium bowl. Add boiling water to jello. Stir until completely dissolved. Add ice to 1 cup cold water to make 1 1/2 cups. Add to jello and stir until ice is melted. Pour 1 1/2 cup jello into a small bowl. Refrigerate first bowl for 30 min or until slightly thickened.
Whisk 3/4 cup Cool Whip into chilled jello. Pour into a 8x8 baking dish. Refrigerate 15 min. or until jello is set but not firm.
Top with reserved jello. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
Top with remaining 3/4 cup Cool Whip. Cut into squares and serve.
