Tips On How To Stay On Track With Your Take Shape for Life Program
Whether you've just started your journey to optimal health, or you've been traveling with us for a while now, the following tips and recipes will help you stay on track and keeping you moving forward to win victory over your weight!
Tip 1 – Just getting started! If you have just started, WELCOME ABOARD! In a nutshell, TSFL is an entirely new approach to well-being based on creating health, not just losing weight. It is not a short-term solution for obesity or a quick fix diet. It is a comprehensive, doctor-developed, long-term plan for healthier living. Tip 2 - Don’t give up from the first week. Everyone responds differently to their first week on the 5 and 1 plan. While some beginners have positive responses right away, others may find it more difficult to adjust to eating more frequent, smaller meals. Hunger, agitation, and a drop in energy is quite normal. If you are having a difficult time your first week, don't let your body's response mislead you that Medifast is too difficult and impossible to follow – your second week will be much easier.

Tip 3 - Experiment with different recipes. Although there are over 70 different Medifast meals to chose from, and all taste good on their own, trying new ways to prepare your Medifast meals will not only provide variety, but can help you enjoy a meal even better. Tip 4 – Live you life, have fun and lose weight! During your Take Shape For Life journey, you will soon experience plenty of energy that you need to concentrate into something you love and enjoy – your family, children, sports, work or some extra activity. Focus on your life and live it. Do not think about TSFL like something unusual and not typical, something that will pass on and you will get back to your real life –because it really will never be the same. You will be eating healthier and living healthier than ever before!
Take Shape For Life is a philosophy and a way of living that will teach you new habits, tips and tricks that will help you lose the extra pounds and maintain your new weight afterwards. Being busy is great and will save you from some hard times such as staying at home staring into the mirror or weighing yourself every couple of hours. If you do any of these, you won’t lose those extra pounds as fast as you wish.
Tip 5 – Get Support Do not let your family or friends’ skepticism let you down. It’s not them who should believe in your weight loss success, it’s YOU who must believe and stick to your plan to succeed! If you’ve been on thousands of diets all your life, it is totally understandable why your friends are disbelievers. Instead, surround yourself with friends and family that encourage and support you. In just a short amount of time, even your critics will will become supporters as soon as the pounds start coming off and your weight loss success is obvious. More importantly, you will regain your self confidence and esteem, and you will feel beautiful, healthy, and fit again.
Tip 6 – Personal Motivation Love and respect your body and yourself more. Do not let yourself be influenced by anyone to change your outlook and weight loss goals. Strengthen your will, believe more in your success, and always expect more from your body.
